A couple of years ago I spent a sabbatical year at Fordham University and went once a week to the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan to work in their meteorite collection. I remember seeing Neil one day standing on the sidewalk in front of the museum (which includes the Rose Center where he is director) talking animatedly to a couple of tourists who must have recognized and stopped him. He was, of course, talking astronomy. And putting on a show just like he does on the Daily Show. To an audience of two. It didn't matter!
