I can't believe I did it...but i ran for ten minutes today!!!  at 4.0 on the treadmill.

I did 5 minutes...then walked briskly for 5 ....then ran another 5!!!!

I was so in the zone i shut my eyes for a second and almost fell off the treadmill!!!  whoops!

I feel great!   And I can tell my arms are getting more defined from the weight lifting.

So i hadn't been to the gym in just over a week...ugh..horrible i know ( Read more... )

Aryana lost her 2nd tooth yesterday!

Sabriyya has learned the words to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...however...she sings it Runolph...it cracks me up.

And she sings one lyric that turns the song on a rather more somber note:

"And do you regreeeet, the most famous reindeer of alllll!"

So I've taken to running on the treadmill at the Y.  And I've got myself doing at least 5 minutes out of my entire workout which I'll usually do 30-45 minutes.    I can't do 5 consecutive minutes...i have to chunk it up.  I can do the first 2 minutes no problem.  I mean I'm out of breath after those two minutes...and then I'll walk a few minutes ( Read more... )

Aryana has TWO, count em, TWO loose teeth all at once. She came up to me and Jason, who were in the kitchen, and said, I have a loose tooth. Soooo...in my quest to rediscover Aliya...i've decided I'm going to start off by taking voice lessons again. This as actually been a really long weekend for me..in a good way. 

• I worked from home Thursday and Friday. 
• Went out for drinks with a friend on her birthday on Friday at a local place we like. 
• Moved furniture around in the house.
