What type of tablet? I find that wacoms are very good in terms of line weights, but each user will need to tamper with the sensitivity that is never the same for each person.

ALso what program are you using? It's not only the tablet that effect how well each stroke is translated to screen

Tablets must be troublesome :/ I don't have one, but I've heard a lot about them.
