I donated to the campaign every paycheck. I volunteered: made calls, sent e-mails, and at the last minute, drove people to the polls. (I thought I was going to do a whole bunch of that today, but I wasn't needed in the early part of the day

I volunteered, too (for the first time in my life campaign-wise). I had to work from 4:00 to 11:30 p.m., so I missed most of the election coverage, but when a co-worker told me over the phone that Obama won Ohio, I almost shouted in the Music Department. Indiana was called for Obama just a little while ago, which makes it a complete sweep of the Great Lakes states. Pinch me and tell me I'm not dreaming :-)

I think I may have formed a new habit. After results like this, I don't think I can justify not volunteering in the future.
