Cutting scenes..do or do not?

I think I now know what it feels like to be a Director....having written a massive piece for my story, which reads great, and tells a good story...BUT

*offers an ice pack for your head* It'll be okay. Like your scene with pilotJohn, you may find a way to work it in later, so all your hard work isn't for nothing.

Thanks hon! I really hope so, as it has some real character jems in it. And, as is so typical these days, in so deciding to cut them out, the characters seem to have gone on strike! Well, all apart from one that is...it's just so frustrating!
