When Juno went into heat, she was backing up to cats, adults, Kit, chair legs, etc. Distinctions like boy and cat were not of interest to her. Kit thought it was hysterically funny. I said, "You laugh now, that'll be you in a few years." He was really pleased. He thinks hormones sound like fun. Uh huh.
Back when I was a student, I had an un-spayed cat. She would not let me study for my finals. Yowling, begging, etc. So I would put her in a sink of water and let her get soaked to the skin. She couldn't yowl while she was drying herself with her tongue. She got spayed soon after.
