OOC: Character thoughts: Hunterkid?

Yeah okay I got an alt problem.

Last year, when I was new to WrA, I had a little Human Paladin whose general concept was “Refugee from Tyr’s Hand.” She was seventeen or eighteen years old, just a kid when the Plague came through Lordaeron. Her MRP backstory involved her turning up at Northshire seemingly at random one day, just another person ( Read more... )

Paladins are beautiful, paladins are fine
I like paladins - I roll them all the time
I roll them for my supper and I roll them for my lunch
If I rolled a hundred paladins, I'd level them at once!

(But hey what do you think about resto shamans?)

Such a beautiful poem. :')

(I love them. I'm leveling my 2nd one right now. It's hard for me to cap them out because I lose interest in the random asshole dungeon finder after a while, but gahhh resto shaman healing is my favorite.)

Heh. I like that, sounds like something that'd provide a good base and character conflict; I'm interested to hear more about her if you wanna give some more details!

Does sound like a good concept.

Ooh! And my wife reminded me, I've got a Paladin from Lordaeron as well. Silver Hand and everything, A-side Wyrmrest Accord! Lemme know if you'd like some RP there.

Conleth might even know her, if she was from Tyr's Hand. ;) He was one of the older Scarlet paladins. If you ever want RP, he's around, too.

*happy to be blamed for IC inspiration*

Ally side pallys have always been more fun and interesting to me than Hordeside (Sorry Int ;---;). There's so much history and lore behind them and for some reason I like playing a servant of the Light better than a former and/or current thief of the Light.

I've never actually leveled a hunter out of 30, but hunters can be a really fun class to RP since you don't have to really go a certain direction with them. Paladins and Death Knights you have a pretty set in stone idea of what your character is going to be, a pre-laid character agenda, so to say. All DKs have to nom faces and all pallys (ally side, at least) have to be the good guys or at least think they're the good guys. Leastwise that's how it looks to me.

Hunter's have more flexibility as far as what they can be.

...But that character you described sounds really cool. SO CLEARLY YOU NEED TO ROLL BOTH! :D
