Where to buy:

Almost all of the costumes in the movie were custom-made, so you can't purchase an identical outfit like Alice's/Hatter's/Duchess's/whoever. You'll have to make it or alter it yourself.

+ Alice's shoes are John Fluevog Inge in plum. They're not currently producing them, but are re-releasing the plum color for Fall 2010, due to the ( Read more... )

So I've been looking at pictures a bit more closely, and it almost looks to me like her dress is more like a flannel fabric than a straight cotton fabric...
Opinions? I think I'm going to go ahead and make it out of flannel, because Halloween in Cleveland is chilly. Also I think it would be more comfortable than plain cotton.

Pretty sure it's a cotton jacquard, which is a smidge heavier. I made mine out of light cotton, but I was also wearing mine in Georgia in September.

So I've made the pattern for hatter's shirt fabric with photoshop. Still tweaking it a bit, but I'll post a link as soon as I have a version that can be used on spoonflower or any custom fabric site.

I have created the Hatter Shirt fabric! You can get it from Fabric on Demand for around 17$ a yard, if you get a plain cotton fabric (I'm getting 4 ounce). Just send them an email and request "Hatter's Shirt (Alice Syfy)" and they should know what you're talking about.
