I ate a lot of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches until I was old enough to manage anything more complicated.

Heartbreakingly beautiful in the way Will says it so nonchalantly. Like that's normal.

Just to twist the knife even further, in my head he absolutely cannot eat PB&J sandwiches anymore.

Like, it makes him physically ill because they are intrinsically tied in his memory to being that scared powerless little boy.

GAH!

Why do I do this to myself?

Oh my god. That just completely changed the entire Will/Emma invitational scene. That made it Will overcompensating for some elses needs, again. You are beyond awesome and totally rewriting my head canon.

Yay for being able to comment. I think it was a winners thing. I dunno. :D

I don't know exactly how it happened, but the concept of Will not being able to eat P&J sandwiches and a bunch of other half formed plotbunnies all came together in this freakish almost 8,000 word magnum opus of porn, angsty Will!backstory, and poetry appreciation.

My mind is a twisty turny place.

Well, I was intending to wait until the end to comment on this entire thing as a whole, but I just.... I just had to have a bad-flail moment, lol. But, since I'm now randomly commenting here, I'll at least tell you that I love this SO much, it's been a great way to waste my day, lol.
