New fandoms are both terrifying and unbelievably exciting.

It's definitely easier to get into one when you already know most of the canon, but there's something challenging and satisfying and scary and anticipative and awesomely overwhelming about throwing yourself into one you don't know anything about.

Against all my better judgments, knowing that school starts in five days:

I WANT TO WATCH MERLIN.

I've read Merlin fic even though I have NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON. I've read Colin/Bradley even though I'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD EITHER OF THEM SPEAK.

I want to watch the goddamn show, already.

WHERE DO I FIND IT?

I go back to school tomorrow, and classes start next Monday. I'm not looking forward to it.

I. Apparently I am incapable of having multiple fandoms. Once I got into Narnia, I starting horribly neglecting SPN. I've scanned a fic or two, but seriously, that's all. WTF? And HP is so far gone I don't know when I'll get back into that. Maybe once I re-read the books? IDK.
