I was outside last night, the first of December, at 11:00, in a short sleeve shirt looking at the unbelievably clear sky. And I was comfortable; like, I wasn't even cold

Okay, I'll admit that I don't understand the first one at all. But that's just me; I don't get symbolism and stuff like that. :-)
But I do like the second one, and I posted a comment over at hd100 to that effect.
And kudos for drabbling in the first place! It's good to keep going, even if it seems like it's not working that well, because it's hard to stop and then start again.
It's perfectly fine to admit that, seeing as there isn't much to understand. I don't really know what I was getting at when I wrote it, so take it any way you want, and hey! you're right. I know why I wrote it, and that's because I actually was drenched in rainwater and my fingers were freezing from being outside in the rain with only a t-shirt on in December. Harry's feeling in my drabble exactly the way I was feeling that day. Draco's just there for contradiction, I think...
And yeah, I know what you mean about starting to drabble again. I haven't been writing lately as much as I used to; a lot of it, like this, is just me writing for writing's sake. And it is hard, but I do feel better for doing it.
Well, I do like the images, now that I re-read for the look and sound of the words and not the meaning. And it's good that you wrote it for how you were feeling -- I read a novel by Alison Lurie in which one of the characters is a writer, and there was a line, something like: "nothing bad can ever really happen to a writer. It's all material." So now when anything unusual happens to me, feeling sick or getting hurt or being ecstatically happy, whatever, I write it down just in case. So far I've been able to use two of them in HP fanfics. :-D So keep writing things down!
