Are any of you in FL/going to MegaCon in Orlando next month???

Because I've spent my entire life in MA, right, watching cons and things happen in the rest of the country, and it just hit me yesterday that like, I'M IN FLORIDA and cons and things happen here. I look some stuff up, and THIS. THIS IS HAPPENING

I loved MegaCon. We used to go yearly, just to shop for presents for everyone we knew for the rest of the year. I still have my Gatchaman Teddy Bears I got there.

We never managed to get into any of the panels, though. Just be fair warned - as huge a con as it is, the panels fill up fast, and if you want to get in them, you have to get there first thing to sign up for them.

Like I said, I generally went for the shopping. It's about a football field full of venders. So much fun.

Ahhhh man, would you believe I've lived here my whole life and I still haven't gone! And I had every intention this year, too (mostly for Homestuck shenanigans) but now I'm not sure if it'll work out... if you do go, have fun!

Haha, I don't think I'd ever be organized enough to actually make plans ahead of time and do it right (as evidenced right now), and I'd probably always be like, "I'll go next year!", so I can believe it. :)

The more I look at things, I probably won't get to go, but it's not for lack of trying. Everything's just so up in the air for me currently (like, idek if I'll still be here next month) but I'm still seriously considering it.
