It's now past midnight here. I'm supposed to get up at 7. And I'M TOO HYPED TO SLEEP!!! FUCKING HELL!!!
I also had to watch all 7 versions of the song again. Just because! And I'm turning off the computer now, since I really have to sleep. Sorta. I'll probably dream Death/Rudolf though.
Or Death/Death/Death/Death/Death/Death/Death/Death. ^^;;;
You can join, I think. I submit the motion to promote Wao Youka to 'Death' in the dream orgy, though, because she can certainly handle it.
I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH! And I finally found a version for Asaji Saki, too, which is GOOD. Now I can obsess seve-fold! Have my "Yami ga Hirogaru" fix over coffee and tea and all that!
*eyedart* I may have something soon, but alas it's a question of weeks rather than hours. (About two weeks, should things go well, to be exact.) In the meantime, there's Nicovideo - it's got a few more.
And I can't believe there's no clip of the revue pair dance yet. The Lift of Doom has to be seen to be believed.
Eee, bless you for putting these links all together.
My favorite Death is Haruno Sumire because my favorite Takarasienne is Haruno Sumire, so it's no contest. In fact, every so often I call up the S.O. and say, "I'm sorry, but I'm leaving you to go stalk Haruno Sumire." And he's used to this so he sighs and says, "Yes, dear. I'll pack you a lunch."
I love her Death because Osa-san has the acting and the VOICE, god, that gorgeous furry voice of hers and she's got the stage presence which I just don't see in all the Deaths. She's got the wickedness of Death while still projecting the confidence and otherworldliness of a supernatural creature.
Runner-up for me is easily Mizu Natsuki because, oh, yeah, the wickedness. She's got the stage presence too, though she doesn't quite have the singing chops of Osa-san.
But every time I see a new version of this I see something to love!
I still claim Maki Ichiro as my "overall performance" favourite Death, though Ayaki Nao gets the first spot for "bishiest" Death (with Sena Jun a close second!), and Mizu Natsuki gets it for "most evil" Death of course. But there's just something about Maki Ichiro that nails it for me.
The 2009 version had purple Death! Which is a step closer to RED DEATH! (There's even a red costume for Asa in the revue section of the show, which has not been seen since Asaji Saki, I believe...) I long for a Death clad in red and burgundy and black! *deep sigh*

Actually, Sena is not the best dancer of the lot. But I like her anyway. XD
