I consider anything spanning over more than 4 seasons to be soap operas. There's just so many things you can do before people start sleeping around like rabbits.
(Anime are anime. We take it for granted that some of them are... well, the way they are. So do not insult them. You don't see me insulting telenovelas by calling them soap operas, do you now?)
*munches on cookie* Not really exploding, but... well, I might have shared some with RL friends and colleagues. And with my mom, 'cause she's awesome in her own way. :P

Nothing I wouldn't expect from the same person who encouraged her to follow her religious beliefs and ignore the people who were telling her she was ill and should seek help.
This is one of those moments where I wish the two blogs she deleted were still around. I know someone who has the messages on them saved, but I don't really want to bother her.
Anyway, yes, that seems to be the general marketing strategy, now. Poor Kira, having financial difficulties and being distraught by people speaking their mind.
Edit: At least they took down the stupid site messages, which is something, I suppose...
