*laugh* *glomps* I did, not long before I started chatting with you on AIM, I believe. Lucifer needs lots of loving. I mean, talk about being forever in love! *________* Also Michael needs to be less oblivious, you mean. ^_~ Man, Michael, way to have things spelled out for you.
*bows* Thank you. It's not a new story, but... yeah.
*snuggles Luci* In my interpretation, him originally being the first Archangel grants him extra powers to fight those voices. Though I'm pretty sure he gave in to temptation a couple of times. XD
(but where is teh smut?) ^_~
Sadly, it wouldn't have fit the overall mood. :( So, um... interpret those kisses anyway you want? *wriggles eyebrows suggestively*
and me being totally illiterate when it comes to christianity and religion, I find this very interesting! if I ever read the bible it will be for historic and story-wise value, not for the belief. I love a good story. ^_^
Sadly, it wouldn't have fit the overall mood.
no, you're right about that! but the setup was right there! *laughs*
in Heave all is as it was in the beginning. and it comes through darn well!
*relieved sigh* You will also notice that I have kept to the Christian belief of God as a man. That's because only a man would be jealous and selfish enough to force Lucifer to fall. A woman, even a bitchy one, would not have been that merciless. >_<
Lucifer is totally love and he needs a thorough humping! ^_~
You might be right. Though I believe he'd rather be the one to give Michael a humping, instead. Silly Lord of Hell! *shakes head*

Duh! Logically! It's why I read it in the first place. I cannot conceive how it can be considered as a Holy Book and preached about. It's full of contradictions, especially between the two Testaments. Moreover, the Old Testament is more like a history manual of the Hebrew people.
but the setup was right there! *laughs*Yes, it was. But a sex scene there would have been utterly useless. And I am not one to bump up the rating on a

*shivers* That was just... wonderful. Your descriptions of the angels, of Heaven and Hell and... it's just beyond words.
I love your portrayal of Michael's doubts about God and the feelings between Michael and Lucifer, how changed and unchanged and.. and I'm just a babble of incoherent mess right now. It's beautiful and painful and so much LOVE.
Your portrayal of Lucifer, I find, very poignant. How despite all that was done to him, there's this deep, abiding sense of love he has yet for humanity, his fellow angels and God. And mostly, his love for Michael. How the voices of Hell tempt him continuously and his struggle with it, trying to retain his sense of... agape. Ah, what's the word, unconditional love (yes, I did do Religious Studies for five years, was it that obvious? :P ).
And I have no more words, so again, I will reiterate how much I adore, adore, adore this. If this story was person-shaped, I would huggle it. *beams*
... And you have really made me want to write angel!slash. *facepalm*
*glomps* Thank you. This story, though often overlooked, is still one of my favourites. What can I say - I guess I'm a little blasphemer after all. XD Besides, I'd always wanted to write a "humane" Lucifer, so this is the result. *snuggles him*
Ulterior reasons behind reposting this? Me? Why no, I am sure I have no idea what you are talking about. *smiles angelically* (pun intended)

Skimmed through most of it, but in the Epilogue, I think that Michael's response to "So this is your decision..." is a bit odd if he says "I have..."
Ohh, the mental imagery is positively tantalizing for Michael and Lucifer.

*snugs Michael and Lucifer* They deserve to be happy, regardless of their location.

And talk about letting his loved one defeat him and not peep a word, eh! Poor Michael felt a bit like a fool when he found out. *snuggles them both*

poor Lucifer for having to fight against the voices all the time. but he must be truly strong to manage it.
