Is the diagnosis wrong? Does she live a happy and fulfilling life with Barney?

I've never read anything my Montgomery. I guess when I was a child I went the Laura Ingalls Wilder route instead. But this book sounds very interesting. Is it intended for a young audience?

It was actually one of her few that was intended for an adult audience - but I think they market it now as a "young adult" book.

I don't want to spoil it - but I will say that there's absolutely nothing depressing about the ending.

i found this looking for the blue castle reviews and i totally agree, i love the book. i dont like it when people hate on it. so what if its too this and or to that or bla bla, it's well written and so fulfilling and satisfactory. i swear, i'm feeling bitter af and i go and reread the book and i'm hopeful again. it's like magic.
