The tights fit ok, I'd say that they are pretty much like a UK size M. They say they are 80 denier, but they feel more like 40-60 den to me. I am still considering cutting them to stockings, so the print looks more opaque on my upper legs. I think anyone over 5'6" may have a problem, but up to that height they seem ok!
Wow the tights are cool! I'd like to buy them, but can't really justify spending the money at the moment, so maybe another time. Let us know how they are. :)

Congrats on your conference paper! :D I can't submit any abstracts cos I don't know what I'll be doing at all in a few months time, as I might not be in academia by next summer/autumn. I suppose I can always submit something and just withdraw it if I can't go anymore, but then feel like that would be a waste of time for both the reviewers and myself. :/ I do miss going to conferences!

I am not sure if I am going to the Harry Potter thingy - My husband will be staying at the conference within Disney World and working most of the time, and they went to the HP thing last year (during the same conference). So if I want to go, I will have to go alone ;_;

I know what you mean though, I'm the same way... if I feel that I am not gonna have the time to write a paper, I'd rather avoid committing to it rather than have to cancel later :/ And I am so confused about whether I can stay in academia after my PhD or whether I will be better off getting a regular job... Do you have any plans for after your PhD?
Turn them into stocking? How do you do that? I do hope they will be durable as they aren't cheap! I do like printed tights, but then I'm a bit iffy buying them cos I think they look best on skinny legs and am afraid they would make my legs look bigger! XD

Hmmm I don't know yet about the stocking thing, but I have seen tutorials floating around on how to do it without ruining them. I will obviously try it on a regular pair first, so there are no tears

Yay Disneyland :DDDD I am so happy for you for getting accepted to talk (I assume you're giving a talk?) at the conference! I went to my first conference a few days ago (I didn't give a talk or anything though) so I know how big of a deal it is to be accepted as a speaker. Congratulations <3 Also this sounds stupid but your picture of your tights made me so relieved that I bought the same ones, because otherwise I would be extraordinarily jealous! They're so pretty *_____* (Is it weird to compliment an item of clothing that we both have?)
