I have been so exhausted after a week of hard work in Freiburg, Germany, and flying in just in time for Hyper Japan and then trying to catch up with start of term at Uni and all the PhD work, that I haven't had a chance to make an LJ entry about anything. So here's a rather long one.

Thank you! I really wanna learn how to do more sophisticated nails like Misako's or acrylics, but unfortunately no time :'(

My general field is Scandinavian Studies / Old Norse and my PhD subject is Language & Style of medieval Icelandic medical texts :)

You are doing your MA with Sotheby's right? I remember you mentioning it in your posts but I am not sure, do you do more art or more curating or...?

Your nails look amazing! I like the things you bought especially the pokemon seasonings. I've never seen them before. I am pretty sure my boyfriend would go crazy if he saw that haha

Thank you! I take it your bf is a pokemon fan then? I've always adored pokemon, since the time I watched the 1st episode in Greece - and we still watch it every weekend when new episodes come out <3

The seasoning was very.... erm... fishy, unfortunately, but at least the packaging is cute ha ha:D

Haha yea he is, he grew up playing pokemon on his nitendo. I used to watch some when I was younger but I didn't keep it up. I still live the first opening theme though xD

Aw you got the bunny ears? :D They are cute! And glad you made it back in time for HJ! You hairs were very cool! I'm absolutely clueless with nails. XD The tea party was a bit of a miracle, very cool that it happened!

Ha ha yeah, I had to change my flight to make it, I was originally gonna come back late on Sunday, but as soon as I heard about HJ I knew I had to go!

Yeah, the bunny headband is so cute IRL, I couldn't rseist it! Now I wish I had gotten a black one too, as I don't have that many sax clothes :(

Ha ha yeah, some other people said they didn't recognize me at first! You're very kind, I don't feel like sweet suits me at all, but oh well it makes me happy to wear it so I do :D

I loooved Misako's nails so much - I got the perfect opportunity for a pic as she was trying to find her camera in her bag and she was handing me random things to hold for her, so eventually I asked her! She was so gracious about taking pics and asking her questions overall!

Mine don't take that long, as I don't know how to do them properly, so I just paint them and then stick random sh*t on ha ha. I made these the night before and it took about 20 mins in all :)
