More pre-birthday shenanigans

I got a package in the mail yesterday from my old college roommates, and even though I suspected it was a birthday present I opened it tonight, because apparently I have no self-restraint. And among other things, they gave me a Captain America pillowcase.

Ooh, when's your birthday? Are we birthday twins? Mine is today -- yay for being 21! (I actually can't stand the taste of alcohol so I don't really drink. BUT the point is that now I CAN if I want to! :p)

AHHHHH, HAPPY (late) BIRTHDAY!! Haha, when I turned 21, I was mostly excited because I was able to buy my own cooking liqueur and go to concerts at 21+ venues. Regardless of alcohol consumption or not, I hope you had a magical, sparkly day yesterday!

My birthday's on Saturday, but for various reasons I keep thinking it's already happened. Sunday will probably roll around and I'll go, "Huh, my birthday was yesterday, wasn't it?"

Thank you! I did have a lovely day...though classes started the day after, which was kind of a crappy present. :p Oh well.

I bought alcohol, was all "ew, this is gross", and gave the rest of it to my housemates. They were quite pleased with this development.

(But you make a good point -- now I can buy my own vodka for pie dough!! Do you know about this trick? Because if not, you totally should.)

AHHHHH SO MUCH YES I CAN'T HANDLE IT. Thank youuu! My birthday's on Saturday, but I keep thinking it's already passed because apparently I can't keep track of new and complicated concepts like the day I was born.
