*GIGGLES OUT LOUD*

Your child is awesome. Hopefully the preK thing works out and they aren't too much bible-thumping-maniacs. *nods*

Gah. Sorry to hear about the stealth Christians.

I went to Vacation Bible School when I little (um, maybe five? or six?) on account of being raised nominally Catholic (though the VBS was Methodist, go figure) but it didn't stick. Sounds like your kid is interpreting things his own way already. :)

Hehehe. Awesome :D

I get your concern. I'm all for freedom of religion, but I have a strong point of contention with schools being associated with religion (watch out that they don't start teaching him that Jesus rode around on dinosaurs). It's not all bad though - I attended religious education until I was around 16. And the most I got out of it was that Jesus was an awesome person, holy or not.

My unbaptized niece went to Jewish day care for a while, and is now attending Catholic school, just because the public schools in Buffalo are shit. That's the atheist/Buddhist side of the family. Luckily, the niece is too wrapped up in begging me to give her a baby cousin *sigh* than to ask the larger questions about life, the universe, and everything.

Though it was kinda fun to see Tim's dumbstruck look when the Toad asked him why Tim's mother hated God and didn't go to church...
