I've been reading the Mei-chan manga, which I thought i had tried to read before, but the drawings in the manga I remember and what im currently reading are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, so now I'm bothered by the fact i have no idea what i tried to read before

I find that I almost unconsciously add five to ten years to character's ages when reading manga and watching anime. It's a self-defence mechanism, because otherwise I'd be throwing the books across the room or screaming at the screen.

I'd heard the manga Mei-chan was a bit loli, and had no intention of checking it out. Truthfully, I'm surprised that it's enjoyable!

Oh, Japan. I'm not even surprised any more - I'm pretty sure Usagi in Sailor Moon was 13, and Mamoru was a university student, so...yeah.

That said, I kind of want to check it out now? Maybe Japan only does it because it hits our kinks. :/

After learning about the manga, 16~ Mei-chan and 19-20~ Rihito in the drama suddenly seemed SO MUCH BETTER. (Actually, it didn't bother me before, either, but...)
