...i would like to pretend i have dignity, but ive given up. what's the plot of Vampire Knight?

I AM PLEASED TO LEARN OF THIS.

Also, Kyoko is AMAZING. She's one of my favourite manga heroines ever and her odd relationships with everyone keep the story going smoothly. I love her antagonistic relationship with Sho, her epic friendship with Moko, and the perfect OTP-ness of her relationship with Ren.

I JUST WISH THE REN/KYOKO WOULD HAPPEN ALREADY.

Tell me what you think about the anime - I only got a few episodes into it, but it looked pretty good.

i love Kyoko. I love that she is totally evil at times, and it's played sympathetically. i love how she manages to inspire everyone, even though the majority think she's nuts. I WANT REN/KYOKO LIKE BURNING. NOW PLEASE.

um..i know nothing about anime, so..im watching it? i enjoy it, but there are parts i would have no idea what was going on without the manga. her entire first actign scene with Ren seems totally nonsensical without knowing what the script's directions are.

THIS ENTIRE POST MAKES ME HAPPY. Skip Beat! is a really great manga and Kyouko is one of my top shoujo manga heroines just about ever. She pretty much shot right to the top of the list as soon as she flew into a righteous anger at Sho and wasn't punished for it. Like, holy shit, Japan, you actually let a female character be pissed, stay pissed, and wasn't shown to be wrong for it? A+++++, YOU GUYS! I KNEW YOU HAD IT IN YOU.

But then Kyouko goes and gets more awesome because it's about her as a person, not just about her falling in love with Ren, that's just delicious icing on the cake.

SO ARE YOU READY TO READ MORE SHOUJO MANGA YET? :D :D :D *ducks and runs*

oh, YES. I love the Ren/Kyoko, but Im reading it for KYOKO. she's growing all the time, and it's not dependent on Ren or Sho in the SLIGHTEST. YAY SKIP BEAT!

Oh, I love Skip Beat! It's like the only manga I'm currently reading. I've been slowly losing interests in reading other mangas, but Skip Beat? Nope, still got to read that! Hehe. Kyoko is great, and most--if not all--the characters are great as well. You didn't mention the president's granddaughter. I love her. She's so cute, and loves Kyoko for not babying her. And the anime is just as awesome as the manga.

The taste of victory is *sweet.* Ahem, that is to say: I'm still thrilled by how much you like Skip Beat! Kyoko is one of my top three manga heroines, and Skip Beat! is probably my number one manga.

I'll throw more recs in your direction upon request. Someday, I'll have you reading all 500+ chapters of One Piece.

*snarls at you* this is all your fault, you know.

also, there was a hysterically snarky Sho/Kyoko that popped up a few days ago. it's awesome, but i think it would be slightly spoilery for you...hmm.

I know, and I couldn't be prouder. *beams*

I read that fic! It has a terrific Sho voice.

I'm all caught up on Skip Beat! I don't count it "officially" read until I get the published volume in my hands, but I am up to date on the scanlations. I couldn't let you get ahead of me, could I? *g*
