Okay, favourite parts:
Rihito was enjoying the smell of freshly folded laundry when Mei came up behind him.
He's SO DOMESTIC, and I love it! I can just see him unwinding by ironing all her clothes. Oh Rihito, how can you be so much like a housewife and yet so manly as well?!
Rihito bowed, the hand holding the towel going to his heart. "I will gladly accept any gift Mei-sama gives me."
You got the tone just right, he'd do and say exactly that.

my own personal canon has Nezu pacing and pacing and pacing on graduation day. the instant she gets her diploma (or whatever it is in Japan), she jumps off the stage into his arms, wraps her legs around him and they make out like crazy as he's trying to kiss her and carry her off for pron all at the same time.
...it is also my own personal canon that anytime Rihito hears anything about graduation, Mei no longer being in school (and therefore exempt from the rules about butler/lady relationships being verboten), and anything about her plans for her life afterward, he drops things, spills the tea, or trips over something.
this gets SIGNIFICANTLY worse after he is midbow to the Hongo grandfather with Mei at his side, and Hongo grandpa says something about how he's looking forward to seeing what Rihito does after he joins the family. ever seen somebody lose their balance midbow? very embarrassing.

Rihito in the Santa hat still continues to delight me, as does the sleight to Rihito's dignity, which I still shouldn't enjoy so much, but. :| I would totally read a series of fics about various ways of destroying Rihito's hair, too, I'm just saying. :|b

Mei being utterly HORRIFIED when she figures out he knows her cycle. Of course he would. And not just when it gets there, but he probably really does know her entire cycle
of COURSE he does. he also knows what brand of tampons she prefers, and gets concerned if she uses too many "heavy" types, when he KNOWS she's late enough in her cycle that she should be using the "light" ones. (one day, after they've finally started sleeping together and are still trying to work around the butler/lady issue, he's going to have a heart attack when he realizes she's a day and a half late. I CANT WAIT.)
I would totally read a series of fics about various ways of destroying Rihito's hair, too, I'm just saying.....WHY must you give me such entertaining bunnies? WHY? *stomps off to think about Rihito getting hit in the face with a jug of water that Fujiko threw at Nezu/Kiba dumping dirt onto his head while maining Izumi's garden/Aoyama "accidentally" ( ... )

Also, trying to take care of a baby and still be there for Mei-sama in the same way and of course none of the rest of the staff would be good enough to help out and even Shibata Rihito will eventually start to wear thin and Mei has to take over to get him to even just sleep for awhile.
I would also pay a lot for Mei to dump a snowball down the back of Rihito's jacket and/or ruin his hair in the process and he can't even do anything about it because it's Mei-sama. And he can't leave her out in the cold and yet his hair and his clothes, it's not fitting for an S-ranked butler to appear so unkempt--!!

Heee....We can kill two birds with one stone here. Insult Rihito's dignity and have Osamu smiling that creepy!hott!!smirk. I see something with Shinobu insulting Rihito's manhood (ie butler skills), making what appears to be moves on Mei (because you know that would so get to Rihito), and then sitting back to watch what happens.

he might make some appearances in a fic i am mulling over. it doesnt exist yet, but he would play a role should i manage to make it actually have a plot and exist on page.

This is so adorable. I love how Rihito surpresses his urge to smooth her hair by paying even closer attention to the towels. And I'm sure he already devotes himself to the task. :) I can so easily imagine Mei's mischievous smile too! Really, this feels so in-character! The only thing it needs is more Kiba dressed as an elf because OMG THE CUTENESS.
...You were totally right. I am ready to rewatch Mei-chain this soon! How did you know?♥
