Comment: Started this way back during the challenge but couldn’t get it down to 500 words. I still can’t, but I finally decided that as long as I was writing naughty, I’d go for broke and push the length limits.

Oh, this is crazy mad hot WWBH, plus an interesting take on Sloane's view of what Nadia means to Jack -- or Jack's view of Sloane's view, or both. And I love this bold, determined yet vulnerable Nadia: the characterization is dead-on.

Also -- crazy mad hot.

Thanks! I'm so very glad you enjoyed. I'll admit, I think I found posting this ficlet more daunting than any other I've done. Never gone quite that mad with the hot before ;)

But Nadia is so much fun to write! And though I always found Jack and Arvin's relationship twisted enough in its own right, I have to say that I enjoyed the dynamic between the two of them on the show the most when they each had a daughter to protect from the other.

I think this sums their relationship up nicely. Jack is used to getting dumped on and finally someone is wanting Jack for just Jack, not what he can be used for. And Jack is seeing Nadia (erm... all of Nadia ;) ) for herself alone and not as a sum of her betraying parents.
