I didn't want to make the ending too angsty, but then making it flat-out happy would have just been strange after everything that had come before, so... hopefully the in-between-ness worked. :)

I was going to save this for a rainy day, but the "rainy day" came today already, because I simply couldn't stay away. And now that I've finished this, and have nothing else (new) by you to read, I'm suddenly all empty. And I'll probably end up re-reading the other two before the week is over, and after that I'll end up coming back to this one, too.
