Chapter 13: Cross-Check
She briefly remembered falling off her bike as a child, seven years old and bawling, both knees skinned; slicing her finger with a knife while helping her mother in the kitchen and being demoted to stirring duty, not even allowed near the stove; foolishly falling asleep on the beach during her one and only spring break

That's House for you--all tough and teasing on the outside, but underneath he really cares... or at least I like to think he does. :) Thanks again!

This one definitely goes down as one of my all-time favorites.

Thanks so much! I'm thrilled you liked this!

Nope. I still love you. No temporary insanity in sight.

I can't tell you how much I envie your writing skills. You have such a great style and a wonderful choice of words. And I can only wish that maybe one day, my stories will sound only close to what you're doing here. It all fits.
♥
Will read the last one now, but hopefully not for long, because I really need more of your writing.

Thanks so much for all your kind words, but really I can't take all the credit. House and Cuddy just work together. And without a thesaurus, I'd be completely lost. :)

And I'm still going to comment on Time in Technicolor, which I finished some time this afternoon, but I just can't find the right words yet.
"but really I can't take all the credit. House and Cuddy just work together."
Okay, that is true, but still, you deserve about 90% of the credit. Or 95%. Or more. :)
Even with a thesaurus, my fics would *still* look like a bunch of paratactic, incoherent sentences completely void of any meaning, compared to yours.

I hope you feel better soon!

I very much doubt that. Especially since I totally had to look up "paratactic." What an awesome word! (And it's probably very sad how much you made my day with that.)

Well, he might be proud, but he sure as hell wouldn't show it--unless you count in some kind of snarky comment.
Maybe yellow, with green writing?
Oh, yes. Awesome colors. With a motto and motive like we have, eye-catching is definitely the way to go.
If by great you mean all in italics or some other kind of weird formatting, then absolutely. :)
Okay, I should probably go. I'm cooking dinner and dividing my time between the computer and the stove is probably not the brightest idea I've had all day. But it's been a blast! I'll definitely have to catch you for some more "philosophizing" some time. :D
Oh, and I hope you feel better!

Haha, no, it wouldn't have. Thanks. ^^
Oh but snarky comments are all the better. At least then we'll know he's serious about it. ;)
Yup, absolutely. :D I really think I'll make one like that one day soon. I know cafepress.com has a site where you can create your own shirts. And it's not that expensive. I just have yet to find out if those can be shipped to Germany, too.
Ha ha. :P Those are just slips of the pen (finger?).
Alright. Too bad :( but I also should be going. It's almost 2 in the morning here. But I think it's save to say that we're on the same page (not literally, you know) when it comes to writing and creativity. So we really have to do more philisophising (without the quotation marks) soon. I just hope we'll find a place to do it. :)
Thank you, I really do. I'm going to stay home tomorrow (today) again, but on Tuesday, I'm going to be back in school (yay...).
So have a nice day, and enjoy your dinner! :)

I just wanted to let you know that I'll be reading all your fics again soon, and then putting them onto my soon to be posted fanfic rec list. And you've got no choice whatsoever. :P

I don't have a choice? But....
