This is amazing! I have a point of interest: Another example of retconning (IMO) is the series finale of The Bob Newhart Show when Bob woke up next to his wife (played by Susanne Pleshette, who played his wife in Newhart) and claimed that he had a dream- retconning the entire show.

Another famous example of retconning the finale is "St. Elsewhere". See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Elsewhere#Final_episode

Re "Sockpuppet": Some writers use a different username for different fandoms. I have known the more popular writers in a fandom to use sockpuppets to post in a fandom they don't usually frequent, to post fics they feel are of a different (possibly experimental) style than their usual writing, or some other similar situation. In these cases, the intent is not to troll or wank, but to branch out without the "baggage" of a well-known name; these "sockpuppets" may later be acknowledged by the original writer.

Seconded. Also, in Livejournal RP games (I couldn't speak for any other form of RPGs since I don't know) sockpuppet accounts or "pups" are used to indicate player characters in a game. (As opposed to "muns", the "mundane" people who 'drive' the characters.)

Thanks - we'll add a subsection to RPGs for that :)

Re: "Drunk!fic" -- also refers to fics where the main plot of the story involves the characters being drunk.

Re: "Jossed" - the obverse of this is "Kripked", wherein the fanon is later *confirmed* in canon. Kripke is the last name of the original showrunner of "Supernatural", a show which does this quite often.

Gah, thank you! That's probably a leftover from when these weren't in order yet.

OCs are in part 2, but we definitely need to implement a better cross-referencing system. Thank you for the catch!
