I think the weather is drunk. We've had a storm for about two and half days and now it's raining, and basically I've been stuck inside for DAYS at this point and I'm going crazy. Over the past weeks, ever since winter decided that it didn't want to make an appearance this year, I've gotten used to walking around when I was brainstorming or taking

Ah... I'd actually have been walking outside regardless... If the water is too deep.. then you need rain-boots of some kind. ... but if its 'only' above there's a couple of tricks you can use. First is to use a pair of pants wide enough at the bottom that it covers the shoes (at least somewhat).. second.. plastic bags + tape. Rip them open, and wrap them around the shoe (NOT under - that makes them slippery) and fasten with the tape = instant 'rain-boots'. Works for a while too... (but does look a little ridiculous). As for the umbrella... unless the wind is shifting directions a lot.. it usually works if you are careful about moving it with the wind. (I usually use sneakers year-round (though the ice right now is making me consider buying winter shoes... (the snow rarely lasts long in Bergen. .. the rain on the other hand...) and my umbrella has survived some amazing weather

The wind was just really too strong over the weekend. I could barely open the windows because of the pressure. But it's better now. :)

Ah, carrying stuff to take notes when you have ideas is a good thing to do. I keep forgetting to do that. I also keep forgetting I can take notes on my phone, LOL. The other day I actually emailed myself. *facepalm* Using a notepad app is a much better idea. :)

i'm usually plotting stories in the bathtub or before i fall asleep at night.
or trying to nap on plane rides or something like that.

I plot before I fall asleep too! But I don't always remember all the details the next day.

The rain was gone for like a few hours and now it's back. Ughhhh. Seriously it could at least be snow!
