Another good day today; also another scorcher. We breakfasted at the same place as yesterday, before wandering down Broadway, back to Battery Park. Boats doing tours of the harbour go from there, and we luckily arrived just a few minutes before one was due to leave, so we hopped onto that

Stunning scenary on the way to Bath from London I've heard - and it is meant to be 34C here tomorrow which must rival the mercury in NYC...

PS. I heard once that the Americans celebrate something on 4th July - I only remember it as it happens to be my cousin's birthday but just to give you some advanced warning. I think it has to do with a ship of tea sinking in Boston a while back - you'd have thought they'd have got over it by now... I mean it's only tea!
