OMG uggs just make me angry. Next to crocs, they're the ugliest show ever invented. No matter how comfortable they are, they just aren't worth looking ridiculous.

American girls wear them all the time too. I don't get it. The ugg treand has sort of died down here (at least, leveled off anyway), but they're still all over the freaking place.

haha you know what made me laugh when I was in England!?...the fact that girls wearing uggs were everywhere!!! I mean, even though they originated in Australia/New Zealand they haven't really been a popular fashion here for 8 or so years. I haven't seen that whole 'ugg "boots" and jeans look' being worn here for years. I mean, a decade ago people were wearing them everywhere. I thought one should never wear them beyond the mailbox!

I have ugg-sort-of-things (except they tie-up at the sides) as slippers because I hate my feet getting freezing in winter...and I cannot imagine ever wearing them out of the house! Ick! It's not 'sexy'...or 'trendy'...it just looks really tacky. Like crocs. Blah! Not difficult to slip on something else to wear out.

Good call ali! Love to see them banned.

That's VERY funny! I never thought of it being a trend that's come and gone in your neck of the world. That must make it seem even worse because it's like stepping back in time - which is WAY back in time in the fashion world!

Ugg-like slippers are great. I mean, they're slippers; comfort is the main agenda. The ugg-like slippers came out here first so I was even more confused when I saw girls wearing what appeared to be slippers or suede ski-boots. Juts plain wrong! ;P

Yeah, they're no longer flying off the shelves here any more either - but that's probably because most girls now own a pair. They've become a sort of wardrobe staple here; the kind of shoe any self-respecting fashionable girl will own. I just wonder if they actually analysed how unattractive they make even pretty girls' legs look! Because it's not the sort of trend that some girls can pull off and others can't - they're generally unflattering. It's perplexing!

Ah crocs. I've never seen many people WEARING them, but whenever they're on a shelf there are dozens of them in all different colours. As if having them in every colour of the rainbow makes up for their ugliness?!
