It's thunder that gives me hope. Something about an electrical storm sends messages to the very primitive within us. This is incredibly beautiful, Ali. <3 I wish I could say something intelligent in response to it, but I'm afraid I have no such powers of articulation. To me, thunderstorms are even comforting because for some reason they reassure me that things are supposed to be tumoultous and unpredictable, and I can rage inside the way it rages outside.
