Seriously, I do! Why is it that when you're sick you want the comfort of your mom?
I think it's because it's that one time when you're weak and want to be comforted by someone and protected. Your mom is usually the one whom you feel most comfortable with...

It's really funny how we shared childhoods but feel opposite about things. When I'm sick I want to be left alone and take care of myself. I hate being touched when I'm not feeling well. That's why I like being sick when Papa's around, because he doesn't touch me and stuff, and doesn't ask obvious questions like, "did you catch a cold" right after I've hacked up phlegm. I much prefer the "oh, you've caught a cold, eh?", which is less of a question than a statement.
Mother must have smothered me when I was sick back in the old days. Ha ha. Smother.
