At least in his own mind, mulish overachiever that he was.
Clunk down at his desk, haul out review notes along with everything else, not quite~ hide the black look at the students that just seemed to skate through the work ... just another day --

"So what did you think of that last test?" because Suzaku himself didn't really care for it. Couldn't teachers make tests just a little more manageable? Then maybe they wouldn't have to fail everyone (laugh).
Not that Lelouch would let him slack off on his studies, but it was a nice thought, wasn't it?

But there was no reason not to be polite. He was raised better than to ignore someone speaking to him; shifting in his seat, he glanced over at the brunette.
"I thought that the material covered was fair enough, but could stand with better results. You?"

Guess it really was just a normal dream after all! ]

Dreams were dreams, but Kain hated forgetting things once he knew they were there -- even if it was just a dream. He hated the feeling that something important was going to slip away and hated even more the hollow sensation that something was missing ...
It was an irrational kind of feeling, really, but he just couldn't shake it. Which made it all the more annoying.
It was also a very irritable-looking Kain who stowed his textbooks in his locker. The dream was likely to plague him until Cecil dragged him away for lunch.

There is no way it could be, though, she thinks as she opens her bento, having done well enough to not snack or nibble on anything in it during the morning classes. The little bag of snacks that littered the inside of her desk, however, was a different story. But now that it was lunch time there was no worries of getting in trouble or being caught by the teacher.
But still...
For the vivid image of a red marked white wolf to stick out so vaguely in her mind like that from a dream alone it had to mean something, right? Tapping her chopsticks against her lips she stretches with a yawn, stabbing them into one of the piggy riceballs. The only explanation? Waka and his weird, silly fetishes of plopping doggy ears on her whenever he had the chance (and proceeding to fawn and cling after the deed was done).
"Mm." That has to be it.
Or she decides as she continues to attack that poor

[suddenly, the warm town of ☳☷☱ doesn't feel quite so warm or right. But it's just your mind playing tricks on you, right?]

The buildings, once new and pristine and familiar, weather and wear away before your very eyes. The shadows that seemed too dark the day before widen slowly, revealing the patchwork seams between the buildings. It appears that the town was forgetting it's original appearance and, like a dream, it is slowly falling apart and disappearing as the players start waking properly.
Those who can fight back the despair and sudden longing for home might notice familiar black dots hiding within the nothingness- but the crushing weight of one's emotions might just be enough of a distraction already]

Regardless of whether you choose to run or stay the end result is the same.
The world vanishes in a flash of white and the overwhelming sense of homesickness...]
