Asch had noticed the posters over the past couple of days, initially ignoring the premise. He had better things to do than tell ghost stories! Besides, he didn't know any interesting scary stories. The town was still large and new enough to scout out for places to train and gain levels. Maybe once he was strong enough, he could find a way back home, which still struck him as a possibility ( ... )

The posters strewn throughout Mac Anu were almost impossible to ignore. It didn't help that the NPCs had started whispering about it all the more as the date mentioned on those slips of paper drew closer. Of course, after the last incident, one would think that it would warrant a bit more caution than before... But that server didn't have any indication of existing other than via word of mouth and had all the ear marks of an illegal event ( ... )

Suzaku needed to keep his mind off of his anxiety. He could feel the Geass creeping on the edge of his consciousness, should his resolve crumble and that was more depressing than anything else that this place could have thrown at him. He should have known that a place like this, with Britannian and Japanese culture in harmony, where Nunnally could walk and see, where Euphie was alive was too good to be true. How did Suzaku let himself be lulled into that sense of security ( ... )
