CHARACTERS | All! DATE | February 22nd RATING | PG SUMMARY | It's Two-Times Tuesday, the last Tuesday of the month! Go out and faito faito some monsters with your friends to earn some levels!
If there's one thing I don't do, young lady, it's engage an enemy without accurate intelligence. You need to know what your enemy's capable of if you want to defeat him.
[Though other players were clearly excited for the monthly event, Genda only took one stone-faced look at the announcement before making his way to the nearest Chaos Gate.
Friends?
What a joke. He'd go this alone, if he could help it.]
[ And Albel seemed fated to keep running into this twerp, almost stepping on him as he went for the Chaos Gate as well. He turns, a snarl quick to curl his lips. ]
Watch where you're going fool, before I shear off your-- oh, it's only you.
[ There's a pause, and the snarl softens into more of a smirk. ]
[this sounded promising. Kain was starting to feel cooped up through sheer lack of action -- still smarting from the glitches, if he admitted it to himself -- and this looked like a good way to work off the stress.]
[ Ah, it's him again. He nods very slightly, in acknowledgement. ]
I suppose you could say that. It seems we can actually benefit from fighting monsters, with this event. Before it was completely pointless, other than to line your pockets and "inventory" with useless items. And you?
[ Of course, she's not about to say no to a scrap. You can find this little lady out in the grasslands, either doing some fancy moves with a Gun steel she was getting accustomed to using or flipping about with a Spin Gai Gu.
Doesn't look like she's breaking a sweat but feel free to join in. ]
[ And as coincidences have it, Linna managed to warp into the same field. That was quite a feat, considering the massive combination of words, but let's chalk it up to suspension of belief. ]
[ And she looks up from her scrap, tossing a ribbon behind her shoulder. ]
Fancy meeting you here. I don't believe I caught your name...
[ And she raises her Gun Steel to fire at something just behind Linna's right shoulder. He'd probably hear the squeak of something that just crumpled to the ground and died. ]
My apologies! I'm Linna Dzintars Orhaldi. A-- [ or wait, no, he was no longer a soldier of Sana. He was Prince Belca's bodyguard, and that need not get passed around so casually. ] --an Adept Rogue, whatever that may be. I had a broadsword and I suppose my fists as well.
[ And then he stiffens as she points that gun at him, but with a quick warrior's wit, realizes it isn't aimed at his person. All the same, he flinches as it fires so close to him, and turns to see the fallen monster. There's visible relief as he relaxes and sighs, turning back with a shaky smile. ]
Thank you, I now owe you my life. I suppose the goal is simply to defeat these creatures?

Excuse me! Do you know a good place to go for this? [ She points to the poster in her hand. See? IMPORTANT. ]

...Just pick a place that won't get you killed. It's not that hard.
[Spoken as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.]

I've only stuck to the towns so far...

Earning "levels" = getting closer to kicking that arrogant guy's ass]
Event huh. Well, whatever. Good excuse as any to get warmed up.
Anyways, it sounds simple enough to Alpha; he makes his way to Lumina Cloth's Chaos Gate, since he hadn't left after that whole chocolate fiasco.]

Running off to level up, are you?

That's just the bonus. I need a little excitement, and maybe one of these dungeons can give me something better than what's out in the field.

It is awful boring around here, isn't it. Have you ever been to one, then?
