you have to smooth them out sometimes, re-aligning and tucking in the ragged edges, pruning in order to promote [healthy/dubiously healthy] growth. Pesky areas of scattered information, nonsensical in its' scattered array, becomes essential in its' congruent form ( Read more... )

i don't think that word means, implied quotes, me, fever, what you think it does, you keep using that word, missing time, logic of a sort, quotes

Certainly there are things within each person that make them who they are...
but where, exactly, is the line between the things that are unchangeable and the ones that aren't?

Experience, maybe, but what about our interpretation of it, movable, yes?
A set of morals, maybe, but those are chosen, and so completely changeable should you choose.
A way of reacting to other people? A way of living?

I don't know, but I also don't think change has to be gradual. It usually is, it can be, but it doesn't have to be. And if I don't like a personality trait I have, then I should be able to stamp it out or at least control it to the extent that it's insignificant. And if I want to have a different personality trait, then I can - If I know what it is, how it will affect my life and why I want it then I can adopt it. I don't think I'm limited to the emotional landscape I was born with. I might be wrong, but I've decided not to care too much about it if I am.
