Has anyone viewed/used this series of samurai swordsmanship DVDs?

I've been trying to find copies used to see the first one, but no dice on Volume 1, so deciding whether to risk buying one or all.

Research is so interesting!

I haven't used them, but OCLC says that several libraries own them. Do I remember correctly that you're in Tennessee? If you know somebody who can use the Clarksville Montgomery County Public Library they might be able to help you.

If I misremembered the state let me know and I'll check further . . .

I'm in Texas, Jill! My library doesn't have them, and I haven't checked Inter-library loan yet. Maybe it's time to rejoin Netflix?

OK, the only TX library that has these is the Northwest Vista College Library, which appears to be in San Antonio. My library won't do ILL for non-print things, but you should check with your own library about their policy . . .

Thanks for taking a peek. I'll see what the policy is -- I've only borrowed books on ILL.

if this is research for a book, why not contact the local kendo club? I bet they have lots of material.

Because i am so green I didn't know what to look under -- except that a lot of movies with samurai in them are not correct?

I just realized that it will be more important than I thought.

Thank you for the suggestion!
