Cat Instincts

Merlyn is not getting breakfast. I am sure his little cat brain is thinking "I know this behavior. What is my monkey up to?

He likes the vet, hates the trip and blood work.

Hummm....gotten too quiet. Really hope I don't have to pull him out from under the bed.

I think I have finally thought of an appropriate commemoration of Allie's confrontation with Hudson. A wheel of old bone to signify the cycle of life and death restored. Fossil bone if possible!

As you might guess I am having a comfort reread of Allie's books. I do keep wondering how her mother coped with hearing her message on the winds?
Any chance of these books coming out in e-format. As with the Nuala books my paperbacks are wearing out.
I also keep thinking that Full Cast Audio would do a splendid audio version.
Sigh. Hope your move is going sanely.

Actually, I hope to bring out the first two in ebook this year -- maybe in paper if I can swing it, but alas, it would be trade, since places like Lulu and Lightning Source do not do a very good mass market, if at all. I've been trying to get cover art first, but the artists I've investigated are getting booked and not working out.

The third Allie getting finished depends on finding a job and having money coming in. Not panicking yet.

And the other? I found out something about Allie's mom recently -- I don't think it will be in the third book. If something good happens and the books sell, it might be in another book. But her mom is a very steady woman, in her way, having raised a handful of kids on the frontier. I suspect she merely stuck her son on the mule and sent him off to Marta with the news....

Glad to know you love the books. In the current market, that keeps me going.

I shall keep my fingers crossed. Allid and the Nuala books are my favorite comfort reads.
