Wow, Tyler is old enough for school already? Time just flies.

I work with a bunch of CHF nurses, so just hearing what's all been happening, I do hope that everything goes okay with the plans for your husband. It's an understandably tough time, :[

*hugs*

Fandom-wise, I'd have to say I'm only keeping up with Shangri-la because I've come this far so I should finish it. It had a pretty intriguing start, but really, it never lived up to the promise.

I've got to get caught up on D.Gray-Man one of these days. I think I'm up to volume 13 now?

Hey!

Good to hear from you! I'm sorry that Joe's health is not doing too well. I hope his situation improves even just a little in the near future. As you said, at least something is finally being done about this, rather than just being pushed aside. I hate that.

I guess it would be good to give Tyler an extra year to get more comfortable with being around people. Perhaps there might be some sort of "social skills" training in a child development center or something to investigate enrolling him to? I dunno. I wish I could help him out with that regard.

Let me know whether the finances work out for you to visit the parents in the States. I've been thinking about visiting you during the Christmas stand-down (break). If you can't visit Mom and Dad, I can at least come and visit you.

Good luck with the bathroom renovation!

Wow! So much in so little time!

*hugs* for you, Joe and Tyler. I sincerely hope that Joe makes it onto the waiting list, and is successful with quitting smoking; it's tough to quit at the best of times, and when you're under stress, it's an even bigger challenge.

If Tyler is super-shy but can do all that stuff, then put him into either preschool or kindergarten this fall. Kindergarten is basically a repeat of a good preschool, so it's six of one and a half-dozen of the other. The main purpose of kindergarten is to socialize kids with each other as well as non-familial adults, and his skills will be enhanced.

*gives you a giant hug* If you want to talk about any of this stuff, come find me on IM.

In the meantime, I send you tons of love and admiration. You are so strong, lady. All this stuff gets thrown at you, and you endure with grace and determination. *love* You rock.

You should defnitely give him that extra year. I was put into kindergarten when I was four (I turned five in early September) and everyone was always older than I was and I was always the shy one. I think it was made worse by not having a little time to grow up before being thrown in with the big kids. Still, I made it out okay so if you must, you must.

Wow, a transplant could change your lives, but it is a huge thing, as you say. I really hope your hubbie is able to kick the habit and any other stuff that could help him get on a list.
