I'm with you. I haven't read an Inuyasha fic in awhile (or written any). There's a couple I keep up with, but I haven't read their updates in so long. I'm bad. I read one for sure, only because I beta it and it's a crossover. Hehehe... Oh, and the Shikon noms of course. Heh.
I'm glad you're writing again! No matter what, that's always good.

I'm trying to get in the mood to write more Inuyasha stuff, especially Amaryllis, which is painfully overdue for another chapter. I've been so discouraged lately with it, though. There are so many other fics that focus on the subject. It makes me think, "What's the point?" Meh.
It is rare that a show captivates me from the very first episode; Heroes is one of those rarities! I watched the first episode on YouTube, and thought it was excellent! I worried (still am worried a little, heh) that the show will be some sort of x-men/justice league ripoff, but the characters were so interesting, the first episode already full of interesting plot twists and such, that I am having a harder time believing that is the case.
So, nag me! Pester me until I watch more Heroes, then we can fangirl it together :)

THe point is yours is actually good. On FFN alone, how many 1000s of IY fics are there? There are going to be a lot with similar ideas but that doesn't mean the interpretations and executions will be similar. The only reason to stop Amaryllis is if you are bored with it.

*gets all teary-eyed* aw, really? it's nice to know that someone thinks highly of my writing ^^
It's not that I'm bored with writing the fic...I dunno what it is. These latest manga chapters have turned me off a bit from it. I've already had to replan how Sessmom will be written, now I must change my plans for the swords, then there's the fandom's bickering over Sesshoumaru and Inupapa...
I'm very tempted to just wait for the manga to end before continuing. However, with how long the manga has been drawn out already, it would be very unfortunate to let the fic collect more dust for another year or so as Takahashi struggles to form a good ending for it. *sigh*
Meh, ah well. I'll continue the fic when I feel the inspiration to continue it. My writing really takes a nosedive when I'm writing something I really don't want to write.

They only made about 9 eps of the live action Tick but it was awesome. Patrick Warburton played the Tick and he had lines like this (to a coffee machine that wasn't putting out):

I would fill one out of the TV shows too, but the list would be very much similar to yours, but with a few exceptions. I personally disagree with you on Seinfield...I think it's a cool show! But I do agree with you on one thing:
Spongebob Squarepants what an stupid show. why do kids like it so much?.....why do Adults like it so much?! (recalls all the adults I've seen in the states running around with Spongebob t-shirts, backpacks...even action figures)
Oh, and The Simpsons are da bomb! But I don't remember the last episode of Hercules...
