So I voted last on Tuesday. It was super awesome! I just love being able to DO that, to have that decision making power. I don't understand why so few of my peers take advantage of it. I can understand if you abstain from voting because you feel you arent aware enough of the candidates or the issues at heart to cast an educated decision, but ( Read more... )

Good analogy. Hey Kilgore lost anyway. Of course thats another problem I see. It wasnt "I hated Kilgore", it was "I hated the republican". People shouldn't give a rats ass what party they hail from, but rather what they stand for as an individual. But that's not how it works in politics. That being said I'd rather have Kaine than Kilgore. Hmm, what's with the 'K's?

Most of the candidates ad campaigns were pretty much the same too:
"He's going to ruin the state/country/world so you should vote for me!"

or

"He's going to let illegal immigrants ruin the state/country/world so you should vote for me!"

I'm sure the second one went over well with everyone in the D.C. area.
