Today in things that are making me want to stab something:

1. Last November I went to the Doctor and had a physical. Today, I received yet another bill in the mail telling me that my former insurance provider (I've had to switch twice since then) still refuses to pay for all of it. Yes, the American health care system, it is fantastic.

My bus ride to campus is only about 30 minutes, thank goodness, but it still requires a great deal of planning around the timetables. And a lot of running up the block when I'm late.

Do they just not care whether you've had the vaccines, or they just assume by the time you get to college you've had them? For undergrad, I think I maybe had to sign something that said I'd had them to live in the dorms, but I didn't have to provide any proof.

Do you live in a different part of the city than the university? Luckily I'm not that far from campus, so the ride is shorter, but the schedule is kind of irregular and I'm constantly confusing the arrival times.

My sister is in nursing school so she has to get stuff every year so she can work in the hospital. Better her than me!

I've called the Health Center three days this week and still haven't managed to get a person who could fix anything, so I am getting very, very frustrated with their bureaucracy. I think I'll have to go in person on Monday and just stand their being irritable until someone takes the registration block off.
