Oh my god, you are awesome! It's taking me longer than I thought to put together the playlist, because my songs are all over the place and I don't actually think I've ever tried to put them all in one list. My playlists are... thematic. "For when your boss is being an ass," or "Today I'm in love!" and so on.

There is one glaring omission from the above, which I feel I must rectify despite the song's origin in (gulp) 1980. Cliff Richard's "Dreamin'". I'll post mine ASAP.

No, honestly, I keep looking at this list and thinking that I really don't think I can improve on it. There are maybe 10 tracks I'd add, tops. Wow, I'm so impressed. And this after steeping in Al Stewart all day long thanks to you :-)

I'm more alarmed by the complete lack of Elton John and Barry Manilow on my list. And you'll note no Billy Joel, too, but I kind of think I'm doing that on purpose. I haven't decided yet.

Please make a list! Or at least don't hesitate to drop me a note if you hear something totally smooth and awesome. I am tackling Toto next, although I think that awesome Africa song they did is too 80's to pass inspection. But they wrote "Human Nature," so I have to give them another look. I am always giving them extra looks. Them and Yes. And the Alan Parsons Project. God my taste is so WEIRD.
