IT WAS PHANTASTIC!

OMG!!! Phantom was so good! No wonder people make a big deal about Anthony Warlow - I can certainly see why! He was amazing! We didn't have Ana Marina, we had alternate Christine, Julie Goodwin, but I thought she was very good indeed. I LOVED the way they did the Phantom's lair, like with the lake and everything, it was gorgeous! The singing was ( Read more... )

I am so jealous you got to see Warlow. I am still bummed that he was sick the night I was there. Sucks you had an understudy for Christine though. Nah well. Glad you enjoyed it. It really was awesome, huh? I wanted to buy one of the Phantom masks, they were quite cool.

I got Children of Dune ages ago at Video Ezy for about $35, which was better than the $80 it was selling for at JBHiFi at the time.

I think I've only seen Gaspard in Paris Je T'aime. Should probably catch Hannibal Rising at some point since you speak so highly of him. :O)

Soundtracks are love.

I'd be pretty bummed at not seeing Warlow. But you can't be mad at him, doing that sort of thing must be so tiring, and he can't help getting sick. Ah, the Phantom masks =D They had HUGE noses, I thought, hehehe.

*sigh* I got mine at Borders, but it wasn't at my Video Ezy =( Yeah, JB was expensive. So, I'll get Dune soon too. Ha, I'm going to have the nerdiest DVD shelf, seriously. Dune mini, Dune movie, CoD mini, Harry Potter, Star Wars, LOTR EE and theatrical...geek out, man. Geek out. =D I just need Monty Python, haha.

HR is probably not a very good film on the whole (enjoyable enough though), but I do enjoy watching Gaspard. =D My faves are Le Dernier Jour (The Last Day) and Jacquou Le Croquant. =D

Well, he cant blame the show for being sick coz this was right at the start. But yeah, people get sick, which sucks, but what can you do.

Nothing wrong with nerdy DVDs. :O)

He must've felt really guilty, because everyone's totally paying to see him.

=D It's like a Fantasy/SciFi fest. =D

I will probably comment properly on this later, as I am a bit too out of sorts to do so now, but I just had to say you win major, major points in my books for being an Elijah Wood fan. That guy means a hell of a lot to me. ;)

He's just gorgeous! He seems like such a cool, genuine guy! And he's a bit of a dork. =D I love him!

Yeah, all that and more. :) And he is such a dork! ;p It makes me smile to find other people who see it too.

Here, just for fun, because it made me double over in hysterics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VV229DbXic

Well, is there a company that usually sells tickets to this sort of thing? Here it's Ticketek, and you just go on their website. And this sort of thing is usually in the paper somewhere, near the music concerts and cinema times and such.

The Faculty, maybe?

Ooh, I am so jealous that you got to go see The Phantom! Sounds like you had a good time though and really good seats. I love being able to see the Orchestra as the play goes on. :)

Glad to hear your teeth are getting better! I remember having my Wisdom Teeth out, not fun at all, but at least your mouth heals fast!

Wow, 37 DVDs. Are they yours or your familys? Because sharing I can see how one would get that many, but being yours alone. Wow. I think I have 15? Though I may have 30-some VHS tapes. :)

This comment totally counts for the meme.

Yes, I'm glad it's healing, though I hate being able to feel my stitches.

They're mine! I don't know how that happened, I must have bought a lot in a fairly short period of time. Since around my birthday, I think, I must have spent most of my money on DVDs, hehe. Dad only has 6 because he just doesn't watch things again. He's like "But I already know what happens, why watch it again?" He has to wait until he's forgotten some of it before he'll watch most things again.

Ah, tapes. I have heaps that're taped off the TV. We don't actually have that many bought ones. The Lion King, The Lion King 2, Harry Potter 1 some cricket one and a Cinderella (not Disney) are the only actual bought ones, I think. But the only VCR in the house is in Dad's room, so I hardly watch tapes now.
