Very cute litle slice of life type story. I love the ending, and not just because of the implied sex. I like that Roget feels sick even just thinking about hurting Mark like that, even during what they're doing.

Exactly, yeah. He'd rather jump off a bridge than even consider hurting Mark/putting Mark at risk.

Oh, wow. This was absolutely amazing. And, even though this is your first foray into this fandom, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. You got the characterisations spot on, and the dialogue was great and the writing was great and all the other stuff was great and everything was great and yeah.

See? It was so good it made me babble. *grins*

The "beautiful satire" and the "hot and cold kiss" was perfect, and all the little things like the banter, and Dr. Collins and the rainbow band-aid were just icing on the cake. Absolutely magnificent. I couldn't have asked for a better story. *smiles*

I was worried about characterization. Even though I love Mark and have probably studied him from every angle - I still worried about writing him. I'm glad you thought it was on! :)

Thanks. I like little details. They are my specialty.

Ah, Mark, Mark, Mark. The nice thing about Mark is that there are so many different ways he can be interpreted. Yours was very realistic. And good. And stuff.

Oh god, again the ability to formulate coherent thoughts has left me. *laughs*

Tis a good specialty. I heartily approve. Here's hoping we get much more like this. *looks at you hopefully*

See, I love this, because it's frustratingly rare that ficcers ever consider the risks, and put that into their story. Welcoommme!

That was my goal. It's a pretty big part of their relationship. Even in the play/movie, Roger only starts to warm up to being with Mimi once he realizes shes HIV+ too and he isn't putting her at risk.

Thaaaaanks!

Wow, this was great.

To Mark, the words sound like beautiful satire and he wants to laugh until he cries. He takes the half he likes and runs with it, pulling Roger by the back of his head and his fingers in his hair into another hot and cold kiss,

Guh, I fucking love this.

I really like the fact that this is both very good Roger/Mark characterization and (like others have said) very cognizant of the fact that there is always danger in their relationship. Too many stories try to ignore that part of it: it's all "okay" when they're together, which isn't true.

Well done!

Thats my biggest hang up! I like to zero in on the tragedy of the relationship and pick at it so everythings far from "okay."

Thanks!!
