feel bad... I don't know Richard Peck. I guess because I didn't grow up reading his books. I learned so much about him because of this post.
Reading this makes me want to read your first books, and make me want to read your new book in 2019 more. This also explains why you write the way you write. It's so cool! I thought the 'spy on teens' was funny, but it makes sense.
Pretty sure you made him proud. And I'm sure he's happy you keep celebrating his life through writing.

Thanks. The beauty of books is, they outlive their authors. I don't know what your interests are, but he wrote a lot of books, more than 40. His more recent books are middle grade. I enjoyed The Best Man and The River Between Us. He wrote a great book on writing, Invitations to the World. Sadly, it is OP, but it's available used. Lots of great advice!
