Tim Schafer gets $3million+ for pyschonauts 2And I wonder how long it will take for Timmy to ask for more money? Honestly didn't anyone learn anything from double fine adventure & spacebase DF9? You know two projects that asked for a lot of Kickstarter cash and ended with an underwhelming game and an unfinished game

It's rather a pity the Rift sort of sucks the air out of the room, when there are devices like the Avegant Glyph - same price, superior display (micromirrors, so no screen door effect), and designed to be usable as stylish headphones or a VR headset. As for the price, I've no quibbles - if they shift enough, the price is inevitably going to fall. (I must see how SL is with such a setup, for myself. Reports suggest it's really fun for those who love immersion)

It'll be interesting to see how the fundraising goes, for Psychonauts 2, with Broken Age still fresh in everyone's memories - still, it did see completion, even if the schedule wasn't exactly what everyone had hoped for. I shan't be worried, either way - I've still got Broken Age and Grim Fandango to get through first, amongst a veritable pile of other games, let alone books and comics.. =:/
