My little dog's recent trauma

Nov 22, 2008 19:21

I'm using the live journal as a blog at the moment.

So if a fellow friend happens to notice this one, no need to read further if you don't want to see gory details or a long drawn out family drama.

For those who don't mind reading on,

please click Fox's History to read the details:

Oh geez Alex... your mother needs a wake up call. I sure hope Fox recovers fully from this.

So far the news from the clinic is better.

We will be taking her home on Monday.

I know fox must really be depressed having to stay in such a scary place with her stomach in pain.

But as long as we can get her home, I think she will be much better.

I don't know what to do about my mom. Probably just ignore her, unless she is willing to apologize. But she hasn't even made the attempt yet.

I need to amend my post. Your mom is not in any way responsible for Fox. I could not/would not expect my mother to take care of my furbies. Shelby has a nearly golf ball sized lump on her right leg. It causes her NO pain (although no end of stress for us), so we haven't taken her to the vet because of it. But certainly at some point it's going to need to be taken care of.

Actually, it's insane. Shelby knows the word "Grandma" and she is a pogo stick on legs. My mom needs to let loose a little and realize that the animals LOVE her despite her own opinion.
