the white stripes are actually playing in delaware (next month, i think). i tried for about an hour to get tickets, but there were none to be had. they're playing a really small venue, so it would have been a chance to actually hear the music well.
cats are fabulous as pets for those who travel because they are pretty well self sufficient. AND, unlike goldfish, won't eat until they explode so you can leave out plenty of food and water for her and all should be well. I wouldn't suggest this for more than 5 days or so but *shrug* it's a thought.
Did I know you were only going to be 5 hours from me???
