I have spent the last week on a Project management course, namely PRINCE2 Practitioner. I hated the course as it didn’t have anything to do with practicing the approach , but instead was a one-week-long cramming session with two exams.

So I am going to give myself a reward and talk about Joe Abercrombie.

I think I can agree with Abercrombie's world view too well. :D I don't know if I want a re-read though, I very rarely re-read books.

I thought you 'd like Monza. If anything I thought her character to be a bit similar to Cersei's

He is a British author, may be he is less known in the USA than in UK? I think I first came across his books on one of "book store recommends" shelves (I like those shelves quite a bit). As reginaspina says, his staple is his dark humor..

I've just googled the author and he was translated in Croatian. But I'm gonna see if there are any audio books around LJ, ain't nobody got time for readin' these days. ;)))
